Fishing Rates Trip Rates – through Memorial Day | Prices based on number of passengers.

2-DAY TRIP – June and July

Reef fishing and or sword fishing.

  • This is the ONLY type of OVERNITE trip we run in June & July.

Boat leaves at day break 1st day and returns around 3 pm the 2nd day. Stay anchored offshore 40 to 80 miles for the night. Or we can reef fish our way offshore to swordfish at night. Some reef fishing or deep dropping on way home on 2nd day. Arrive back at dock between 4-6 pm.

2 & 3 DAY TRIPS – All Other Months

Reef fishing, Tuna fishing, Marlin fishing and Sword fishing.

Boat leaves around 10-11 pm at night. We start fishing around daylight (70-90 miles offshore) for groupers, amberjacks other reef fish. Around noon, we head further offshore (marlin fishing) for a night of fishing for yellow fin and blackfin tuna around the deep-water oil rigs 120 to 150 miles offshore of Destin. On the second say we either spend the entire day traveling home, or we squeeze in a couple of hours of more reef fishing. (depending on how far away we are) OR We can bottom fish the first day, swordfish that night and do some deep dropping and trolling the second day. On a 2-day trip we typically arrive back at the dock between 2-5 pm. The bottom fishing and sword fishing takes place around 65-80 miles. The tuna fishing is 120-150 miles.

The Timid Need Not Apply For This Trip!

3 DAY TRIPS

A 3-day trip starts out much like a 2day trip…. but gets better.

Boat leaves around 10-11 pm at night… start reef fishing around daylight, around noon we head out another 50-60 miles to Marlin fish and tuna fish around the deep-water oil rigs. The next day we will troll for Marlin, tuna, wahoo & dolphin in & around the rigs and DeSoto canyon. We will either stay around the rigs to tuna fish for a second night or we will make our way closer (75 miles) to do some sword fishing on the second night. Depending on how far away we are on the last day, we will either spend the entire day traveling home or we will squeeze in a few hours of reef fishing or deep dropping. On a 3-day trip we typically arrive home between 1-4 pm.

The 3-day trip is a good deal because we don’t have head home after the first night. We get to stay and fish. We’re going to cook some fresh fish and goodies on the grill, we’re gonna get 3 days of hard fishing in and we’re going to have a damn good time on one big bad ass boat. Once again, “Timid need not apply for this trip!”

Trip prices include everything you need to fish: Tackle – Licenses – Ice – Bait (dead, we have to catch live baits fresh everyday).

Fish Cleaning and Gratuities

The mates are going to work with you all during the trip. They will keep your tackle crisp and ready, coach you in the proper form and technique and be ready to help you safely land that big fish. They are going to work their butts off the entire trip and they will be your best buddy when the action starts.

At the end of the trip, the mates will fillet all of your fish, bag them in plastic bags and ice them down in your cooler. There is not a set charge for this. TYPICALLY, the mates are covered in a gratuity of 18% to 20% of the total price of the charter. This can be handled directly with the mate or can be included in the check at the end of the trip.
